Roby abbandonato come un rifiuto

Lo hanno investito… e lo hanno lasciato lì.

Come se niente fosse.

Come se non fosse una vita.

Come se il suo dolore non contasse.

Roby era solo un gattino per strada…

Un’auto lo ha travolto.

Il pirata della strada non si è neanche fermato.

L’ha lasciato lì, agonizzante sull’asfalto.

Era la domenica delle Palme quando abbiamo ricevuto la segnalazione.

È stata effettuata una radiografia.

La diagnosi è stata devastante:

frattura scomposta della tibia (zampa sinistra)

frattura del femore (zampa destra)

Non potevamo aspettare. L’ortopedico che ha già salvato le vite di Ada e Nuvola ci ha detto chiaramente: serve un intervento immediato,senza un intervento urgente, Roby avrebbe perso l’uso delle zampe.

Così, nel Venerdì Santo , mentre il mondo si preparava alla Pasqua, noi correvamo contro il tempo per salvare Roby.

L’intervento è riuscito… ma è ancora tutto da pagare.

Quasi 2.500 €

E noi, come sempre, siamo soli.

Nessun aiuto da parte dello Stato, del Comune, della Regione.

Roby non può parlare, ma il suo sguardo dice tutto: non lasciatemi solo.

The diagnosis was devastating: displaced fracture of the tibia (left leg) femur fracture (right leg) We couldn't wait. The orthopedist who has already saved the lives of Ada and Nuvola told us clearly: immediate intervention is needed, without urgent intervention, Roby would have lost the use of his legs. So, on Good Friday, as the world prepared for Easter, we raced against time to save Roby. The surgery was successful... but everything still needs to be paid for.
