Rob's (Quadriplegic) Equipment Fund

Rob and Lori were in a horrendous vehicle accident which left Rob disabled as a quadriplegic. This has drastically changed Rob and Lori's lives, as they struggle to make ends meet with the exceptional medical costs associated with managing Rob's day-to-day care. (Unfortunately, their accident was an "act of God"; their trailer was pulled into the center ditch by the wind, causing their vehicle to catapult upside down on the other side of the road. As it was a single vehicle accident, they do not receive ongoing funding or coverage through ICBC, and medical costs are high).
Rob's biggest recent expense is an appropriate wheelchair (that is fitted just for him and can withstand tilting often to offload pressure areas). A properly fitted motorized wheelchair costs approximately $25,000. This cost is out of pocket and is above and beyond what Rob's wife Lori can manage (she already works full time just to make ends meet and cover basic medical supplies for Rob's care).
Despite Rob's difficulties and limitations, Rob continues to give back to the community. He volunteers weekly at Surrey Memorial Hospital, and will soon also be volunteering at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. Rob loves to spend time with his grandkids and family, and is active in his community.  
Rob and Lori have touched so many people's lives, and have helped so many people in the past.  They have previously donated so much time and money to their friends/family/coworkers...   now it would be great to give back them when they need it most ♡
