Rob McDougal’s Road to Recovery

Anyone that knows Rob McDougal, knows just how much light and laughter he brings to this world! Rob has gone through many medical trials over the past 6 years and has never been one to complain! He looks on the bright side, he focuses on the plan of attack to work through these medical challenges, whatever the treatment/procedures may be! He does so with such positivity and grace! Rob also has never asked others for financial assistance with the bills this medical journey has placed on him and probably wouldn't, so I am asking for him... for support for him and his family.
Rob's medical history with cancer includes a diagnosis in 2012 of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, in 2015 CNS Lymphoma (within his central nervous system) and in the last couple of weeks, he was told his Lymphoma has reappeared. Two weeks ago, Rob completed his first, hospital bed-based chemo for the most recent diagnosis, and will do an every two week (roughly) rotation of 3+hour chair based chemo treatments, and hospital bed based chemo (lastly 3-5 days). He will be completing these chemo treatments through the beginning of May. I’ve created this page with Rob’s permission as I understand a major illness can add financial stresses on an individual and their family.
All money will support Rob & his family during hospital stays (3-5 days for each round of chemo), all the trips to U of M for procedures & appointments, gas, food, doctor’s bills, and any hospital costs not covered by insurance. Rob was recently let go from his new position/job to focus on treatment, and is hoping to be able to secure short term disability before his termination date. Any donation will help make a HUGE difference for Rob and his family! While Rob fights to beat Lymphoma, the last thing any of us would like, is for him to worry about financial stresses!
