Rob's Alaska Adventure....

Born in Modesto and raised in Hughson, California. He had many goals, talents, and dreams. He learned at a young age to forge bowie knives, build Kentucky black-powder rifles, and be a true mountain man like his father.

Rob became a mechanical engineer but wanted more, to see Alaska and possibly build a home there. It happened just not the way he thought, but he made it. It was a lot of struggles with life curveballs. He became a school bus driver in Feb 2016 and planned to homestead a piece of property, but a Log cabin home with land fell into our laps, along with life struggles; covid, Rob having a heart attack, and then the constant pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis that made his life uncomfortable. You would not know it tho, he always was smiling and making a joke or logical statements to make you laugh. He really enjoyed driving and being around fellow drivers and passengers. We or I have been blindsided by his death. Nothing could have prepared us for this, and we would save a few dollars; life would show up and anything we had saved would be gone again. Robert was my everything from best friend to soul mate. My heart aches and my ears long to hear his voice and him harassing his children on skype while playing games on-line. He will be missed.
