Robert A Strunk "Pigpen"

Robert Andrew Strunk, October 31 1971 to February 8 2024. He was laid to rest on February 19 at Arlington Memorial Gardens next to his niece Mary, across the way from Mom, Linda.

He was diagnosed with squamous cell lung cancer in January. The cancer was considered treatable, and we were told Rob had a 90% chance of still being around 5+ years from now.

We are overwhelmed with the support from the Northside community and others near and far. Because of you, we were able to hold a final service for Rob, and lay him to rest where appropriate.

Rob truly made an impact on his community, and the love and support from the Island of Misfit Toys proved to me that he had served his purpose in life.

Again, thank everyone for making all of this possible in an expedited manner. There are some outstanding expenses, and now that the mission is complete, we are grateful. We will pay these outstanding costs over time, but will continue to accept donations for a time.
