RoboScout Squad is an all-girls FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team from Kalispell, MT. On February 5th, they won the 2024 Montana State FIRST Tech Challenge Championship by earning the Inspire Award. This earns them an invitation to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX April 16-20, 2024. They will learn from and compete with 223 US and international teams. Participation on the world stage is an educational opportunity that they will remember forever.

As we are close to departure time, our budget for this trip is $30,650. This covers airfare, luggage fees, lodging, food, rental cars, gas, parking fees, robot parts, tournament registration, team uniforms, presentation supplies, large format print jobs, shipping equipment to and from Houston, banners, small trinkets to swap with other teams, and convention booth display representing both their team and the great state of Montana. We are excited to get to visit NASA.

These amazing young ladies are humbled, honored, and excited to represent the Flathead Valley and Montana at the FIRST World Championship. As a community, I’m sure we can get them there. Please share this everywhere. We are stronger together.
