Houston, we’ve got a problem!
Hi, we are the RoboRoyals from Chancellor State College. A high performing robotics team from the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
On December 2018 the RoboRoyals packed their bots and bags and flew to Sydney competing in the Australian National Championships of the international competition, First Lego League (FLL). We presented our BioPod, an automated robot that sustains plants, in a ‘Mars’ environment, and engineered LEGO EV3 robots to compete in the robot game.
The final seconds... and we did it! We achieved the highest score in Australia! What we felt that day was exhilarating. Everybody around us was crying as what we wished was here. For us, that was a defining moment in our lives, our hard work had achieved great things, we couldn’t believe it!
The RoboRoyals have been invited to the World Championships in Houston, Texas in just a short 5 weeks. We would be representing our school, region and Australia. For the RoboRoyals to attend this competition, a minimum funding of $27,000 is needed. With your help, we are hoping to raise funding to put towards this once in a lifetime opportunity.
As we begin the final countdown to the big day, we ask that you open your hearts to us and contribute any amount possible to enable us to represent Australia and continue Chancellor’s pursuit of robotics world domination.
