Robokind autism education

Hello!

I am currently working on my masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. I've been working with children on the autism spectrum for quite some time now, and it is what I intend to continue doing. Autism is a disorder that continues to be a mystery. We don't have a definitive reason for why it occurs, who will get it, and there's no cure for it. All we can do is work on behavior modification and working with our kids every day. One of the big things that these children have a difficult time with is social cues. I have recently been researching and have come across MILO! Milo is a humanoid robot that engages children with Autism and delivers research-based lessons that teach social behaviors. This revolutionary robot is an exciting and affordable new tool for educators, therapists and parents. Using Robots4Autism’s research-based curriculum, Milo teaches elementary and middle school age children the understanding and meaning of emotions and expressions, and demonstrates appropriate social behavior and responses. Educating a child with autism can cost upwards of 20,000 dollars a year. So for just a quarter of that, we can take another opportunity to help these children succeed!
