ROBO DOJO STEM ACADEMY (Covering Costs and Future Projects)

At Robo Dojo STEM Academy, we’re passionate about giving every child the chance to explore STEM. This summer, we had the privilege of running ROBOT CAFE CAMP where kids learned about robotics, science, and engineering. What made this even more special was that the majority of our instructors volunteered their time and expertise for free to make the camp a success.

However, running the camp did come with some significant costs. We ended up with over $6,000 in operational expenses, including supplies, venue fees (over $4,500), and other necessary costs. In preparation, we also purchased 20 Lego Spike Robotics kits to use for this camp and future projects. While we were able to offer the camp free of charge to families, we’re now looking for help to ensure we can keep this program running and make it even better for next time.

The more we can raise, the more programs we can offer. We hope to offer after-school 6-8 week sessions and special events throughout the year. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to cover the costs of this camp so that we can have a sustainable model for future STEM outreach.
