Roberto Nunez Guerrero, a 25 year old army veteran, was currently in a tragic vehicle accident where he was left fighting for his life.  On May 21st, 2015 he was flown into emergencies, fighting a coma along with a severely injured body, and several broken bones. Robert was an 11B,  a true Infantryman, where he did a one year tour in Kunar Province of Afghanistan. He fought some fierce battles during his time in the military that some may never imagine.  He also has his first child on the way, which he is really excited for and anxious to be a father to. Rob has always been a strong man, and has never hesitated to lend anyone a helping hand, but now he is in need of other's support. He is now battling traumatic brain injury, a broken right femur, an injured right shoulder blade and broken  facial bones. He is currently in the ICU on a trachea for breathing support, as well as a PEG for feeding. His family is currently asking for any kind of support for medical bills and rehabilitation.  We are praying for him and his family every day, and have faith that he will make it through this tragedy and continue to be a great man, friend, brother and father. Thank you.

Robert fought in battles in the Stan such as Strong Eagle 1, 2 and 3 during his time with 1st Brigade Combat Team 2D Battalion 327TH INF Regiment (No Slack) 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The movie The Hornet's Nest is actually based on the battle of Strong Eagle 3. Robert has faced many obstacles throughout life just like many of us have and with the help and support of others he has overcome them, but now he faces another battle in which he needs everyone's help. Rob now out of the Army is currently enrolled in school to pursue his dream/goal of becoming a Physical Education Teacher and mentor to the youth.
