On Sunday April 19th my family loss one of our own. My uncle Danny passed away from complications of pneumonia and gangrene . I’m grateful my Aunt Susie and cousin Crystal were by his side. Something that isn’t happening for so many right now. Uncle Danny is loved and will be missed not only by my Aunt Susie, his children and grandchildren, but the whole family feels this loss greatly. We are a close family and we are always there for each other and at this time it breaks my heart that we all can’t be together to mourn and celebrate his life. I grew up with my Aunt Susie being like my second mom. My sister Janelle and I spent many summer days and any free time running the hills of Nipomo California with my cousins Nick, Jamie, and Crystal. We were as close as brothers and sisters. My Aunt Susie is so very important to me, and I would do anything I can for her. She’s been a hero of mine since I was a kid and I love her dearly. Uncle Danny was always there to help us with tree forts, tire swings, fixing our bikes, making us “mud pools” with his tarps he used for work. And helping our “Wizard of Oz” game be fun. He never seemed to mind me eating all the bologna sandwiches I could get my hands on! Lol you could hear “ Aunt Susie I’m hungry” through the hills of Nipomo! My nickname she gave me was “I’m hungry “ cause all I did was want to eat, especially the foods we didn’t often have at home. These childhood memories I cherish and always will.
My Aunt Susie has always been there for me, and now it’s my turn to take care of her and my cousins. Uncle Danny loves his family very much, and adored all his grandkids. A die hard Raider fan, Jason and I would enjoy our visits talking football, but mostly to see his smile. His face would light up whenever you stopped by to visit with him. And that is what I’ll miss most.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help my family with any funeral expenses that they’ve paid for, Jamie’s plane ticket home, and anything else they may need. Uncle Danny was home bound for many years on oxygen and Aunt Susie was the only one working outside the home at the local schools. As we all know, schools are closed, so anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. No one asked me to do this, I just want to help any way I can since I can’t be with them now in California. I will send all money raised to my Aunt to make life just a little easier. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May uncle Danny Robinson live on forever in the love his family holds for him. I love you Uncle Danny! Love you Aunt Susie, Nicky, Jamie and Crisco ❤️
