My name's Robin. I've had Pudendal Neuralgia or Pudendal Nerve Entrapment last 20yrs. Look this debilitating rare condition up? Then you'll understand much I can't put into words.
2001-I was permanently& severely nerve damaged when a 2nd Dr. Put a Mesh Bladder/Sling in me w/o my knowledge. After my 1st Dr. Did a surgery I knew Of.
I woke in Recovery with 24/7 Pelvic/Spasms like Early-Late Labor Pains&Leaked. Esp. If I SIT. NONE I had day before. Despite 22+surgeries last 20yrs? I'm only Worse. To SIT & Ride in a car a few minutes? Does me in for Days.
I was 41 & Taught many Yrs until that 1day Ended My Career & My Entire Life & Family's Changed Forever.
Yrs Later I found I have Pudendal Neuralgia. Its when your Pudendal Nerve (1they try to deaden in childbirth) is entrapped or damaged in a surgery or accident. Mine? Is stuck in ON Position. It's like trying to live daily in early-late labor.
We recently found an Ariz. Dr. 1 of few in U.S. can treat or do a surgery to "release" my Pudendal Nerve that's been Entrapped SO Long.
Any & All $Money will help Travel & Medical expenses. I have to be driven in our small used RV to get there. No way I can Sit & Fly or Sit & Ride.
I was a Busy Happy Teacher 18+ Yrs. +Wife & Mom of 3 Children.
I was used to Caring for Others inc. My Late Elderly Parents. Not Being Cared FOR by others.
To be able to do more? Would mean a LIFE again for me & my husband who's also disabled. But still drives & does his best to do the most for both of us.
Most Of All? I miss being with Friends & Family & Going to Church. After 20Yrs? I Often feel Useless. But Prayers from Friends & Family help me continue to try.
