Please Help Fund Robin’s Lifesaving Cancer Treatment

 

Robin, our beloved friend, is facing an ongoing battle with cancer and needs support for crucial lifesaving treatment. In 2021 Robin was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer, small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix. She underwent treatment in 2021 and 2022. Sadly, the cancer has returned, and she has been back on chemotherapy treatment since December 2023. The good news is that the chemotherapy has already shrunk the cancer remarkably, however, she still has many treatments ahead of her and they are very expensive.

 

Why We Need Your Help:

 

Treatment Costs: One of Robin’s essential chemotherapy medications is NOT covered by private or provincial health insurance. Each treatment costs $3,545.00. Robin still needs at least FIVE more rounds of this chemotherapy.

 

Living Expenses: Robin has faced a lot of side effects over the past year from her illness and from the current treatment. Due to her ongoing illness, she has been unable to work. Her husband, Jordon, has also needed to take time off work to care for her. As a result, they have exhausted their savings and need help covering living expenses.
