Robin Stutler
Those of you who know my wife, Robin Stutler, know that she is one of the most giving and caring persons you’ll ever meet. But now, at the age of 52, after experiencing complete liver and kidney failure, she has had a life-saving double transplant of her liver and kidney. Her life was shattered by this diagnosis, but her faith has not wavered, nor has her trust in God for her healing diminished.
Robin’s new liver was transplanted at Ochsner Mult-Transplant Center in New Orleans on February 17, 2024, and her new kidney was transplanted the following day. She has done well with recovery from the transplant with exception of a few issues. But, four hours after being discharged from the hospital, she fell in our hotel room and fractured her femur, requiring orthopedic surgery, and an additional hospital stay with at least three weeks in the rehabilitation hospital.
I’m sure one can see the impossibility of an individual affording this on their own, in fact, just the liver transplant alone is in excess of $800,000.00, and a kidney transplant is in excess of $400,000.00. And now, the additional costs related to the hip surgery has further financial ramifications. That is why Robin needs your financial assistance. Our prayer is that she will be able to return to work as quickly as possible after the transplant and recovery, but that depends on her body accepting the new organs, the rehabilitation of her hip, and her job remaining available. Robin has always been independent, she has not been one to ask for help in any way. Her life has been one of giving out of a heart of compassion and generosity, and she has been the consummate servant of others, often shedding tears for those less fortunate than herself, but now she needs help, and I’m afraid she will not ask for that help unless we all step up together to help her through her time of need.
Will you consider giving? Any amount will help. If you can’t give, would you take time to pray for Robin Stutler on a daily basis, and please consider sharing on social media.
We have set up a GoFundMe account in her name for those who would like to donate. Just click the GoFundMe link to donate!
God Bless You!
