Please help the Robinette Family who have been at Basswood Court in San Jose for 40 years!
Jon and Lauren raised their four kids at the Basswood Ct. house since their birth-- and they opened their home to countless others who needed love and a roof over their heads over the years. Now they have four grandkids that loved going to grandma and grandads for playdates and sleepovers nearly every week. Although a couple of us kids have moved out of San Jose, this house was our gathering point. Our roots.
If you know Jon and Lauren, you know how they do everything for everyone. They would give you the shirts off their backs if you needed them. No questions asked. Now they need you.
On Sunday July 26th, a fire destroyed the Robinette home. A lot of the things in the house aren't covered by insurance and many are irreplaceable family heirlooms. Additionally, Jon lost all of his work orders and his laptop, which are critical to his small, family-owned business. We're asking for your help to donate any amount you can to help them get back on their feet.
Our family has been overwhelmed by the love and support of friends, neighbors, and the community who have come by and asked how they can help. Due to asbestos issues and insurance liability, we've had to turn people away who have been willing to clean, shovel, and lend their time. In lieu of time, we are asking for your financial support.
Please help us support our beloved matriarch-patriarch who have done everything for their kids and our families. This is a heartbreaking time for us all and we truly appreciate your love and support.
With gratitude,
The Robinette Kids
