Robin Cruce - Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Friends and Family all over the country, Robin Cruce needs your help. After some devastating news, Robin is going to need three intense (and very expensive) back surgeries this month. Robin is a well-loved wife, friend, and daugther in Nashville, TN. She is not only  known for her incredible house-cleaning business, but also for helping several women in abusive situations gain freedom of their adictions and move off the streets. Through Rocky Ridge, Robin gives these women a second chance at making an income, becomine self-sustainable, and moving out of the homeless shelters.

With your kind generosity of prayers and donations, Robin's back can be corrected which would give her a second chance at a healthy, pain-free life to continue running her business, helping other women in need, and enjoying her life. She is $8,000 short for her 3 surgeries happening in just two short weeks. No donation or prayer is to small, and Robin's family is very appreciative of your help.

More about Robin's Story

Since 2010, Robin has been putting her heart and soul into her house cleaning business, Rocky Ridge. Hiring many women from homeless shelters in Nashville who are drug/alcohol free, Robin offers these women a position to work hard and move forward in their lives. Women from all over Nashville have been given a second chance becuase of Robin's compassion.

When Robin is not cleaning, she is outdoors with her husband either camping, hiking, or boating. With a passion for an active, outdoor lifestyle, you can see how traumtizing the idea of being in back pain for the rest of her life would be. Not only would this affect her day-to-day house cleaning business, but would also affect her down-time with her family. At the young age of 45, Robin is far to young to be on pain medication for the rest of her life.

After a long month of excruciating hip & lower back pain, Robin went to the chiropractor and went through ten days of traction and adjustments to try and figure out where the problem was coming from. After no progress was made, an epidural injection was put in to her spine to temporarily ease her pain. Lasting only a short 15 hours, Robin was seen by a neurosurgieon at Dr. Aaronson's office with the Howell Allen Spinal Clinic at St. Thomas shortly after.

Dr. Aaronson revied her MRI's and concluded that she had two herniated discs (one at L4 and one at L5), and a stenosis at L3. This was tragic news for Robin, given her need to be hands-on with her cleaning business and her passion for the outdoors. Robin had two choices; she could either take pain medication for the rest of her life or go under these 3 separate, intense surgeries. The first surgery Robin will need is at L5; a bilateral laminectomy. This is the same precedure they will do at L4. The third surgery will be needed to correct the stenosis at L3.

Robin is scheduled to go under her first set of surgeries on June 16th at St Thomas Midtown. Thank you again for your love and support!
