Hello everyone,
My name is Robin Martin and I am preparing to enter my last year at Chicago State University. I currently have a 3.1 GPA and I am studying Health Information Administration. In addition to being a full time student, I work, and I am a single mother of 5 year old Josiah Martin. With bills and having to take care of my son's needs, I am not able to afford to pay for the rest of my education. Chicago State charges Health Studies major an extra $3,000 per semester. While I do receive financial aid, it is not enough to cover the additional $3,000. I currently have a balance of $5,000 which is a combination of the remaining balances from Fall of 2015 and Spring of 2016. I cannot continue my education without bringing the remaining balance to $0 before the Fall 2016 semester begins. I have explored other options such as completing scholarship applications and loan applications. Go fund me was my last resort. If you could be a blessing to me and help me reach my goal it would be greatly appreciated. Big or small, anything helps. God bless you and thank you in advance.
