I am a longtime friend of the family and I have started this campaign on their behalf and with their permission. This is the only GoFundMe account that will be created for the expenses that have occurred and will occur. This campaign was created because of the overwhelming number of messages received from friends and strangers alike who want to help.

Robin was involved in a very violent car/motorcycle accident on June 27th in Farmington, NM. She was on her way to work at Outback when the accident occurred. The motorcycle hit the front passenger side of her vehicle flipping her car over. The driver of the motorcycle did not survive and our thoughts are with his family and friends as this is incredibly difficult for all involved. 

Her injuries are extensive and surgery(s) will be needed. She was taken from Farmington to Albuquerque via AirCare where she remains in ICU. The family is not ready to share what her injuries are and respect for that decision is appreciated. Updates will be given as the family feels ready to share them.

Robin is a hard-working single mom, wonderful friend, co-worker and employee. The family has been amazed at the number of people that have reached out with stories, good thoughts, prayers and messages of hope and love. Being a restaurant employee, the pandemic combined with the accident has turned an already trying time into a nearly impossible one for Robin. Our hope for the outcome of this fundraiser is to provide her with financial stability so she can keep her apartment and get the care she needs for a successful recovery as she will be unable to work for an extended period of time. Other expenses include gas money to get her family to and from Albuquerque while she remains in the hospital, money for food and hotel stays as well as getting Robin to and from future appointments during her recovery. The upcoming school year will necessitate funds for clothes and supplies for her son. The fact is, she can't do this alone, so we are reaching out to the community for help.
