Hi, I'm Karen, and Robin is my sister-in-law; she has been a part of our family for many years. Robin is mom to Robert & Ron and grandma to Ron's sons. She is known and loved by many friends and family.

A few days before Christmas, Robin suffered a serious heart attack and was sent from Owen Sound to Kitchener, where she required emergency heart surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and she is now home and recovering. Because of this sudden medical emergency, Robin has been placed off work by her Medical Doctor for at least one month. Unfortunately, Robin does not have medical or sick leave benefits from her place of employment. On top of missed income, she has also had new medications prescribed since the surgery; this, too, is an out-of-pocket cost that is expensive and can add up quickly.

This fundraiser is to help cover essential expenses like her mortgage, bills, and medication while she focuses on recovery. Any amount truly helps ease that financial pressure during this difficult time.
