Help Robin With Her Recovery!
On the night of July 19th, our dear mother Robin was admitted to the emergency room, coughing and experiencing shortness of breath. Within mere hours, she was on a ventilator and fighting for her life. Over the course of the next 24 hours, Robin suffered two strokes in the left side of her brain. Doctors intervened with a life-saving stent procedure, and it is only for that reason that we still have Mom with us today.
The strokes have affected the language and mobility centers in her brain, and she faces extensive rehabilitation to return to some quality of life. Robin has retained her infectious optimism, positivity, and lovable personality… she is still very much the same wonderful person we have known for so long, but she needs our help. Medical costs are mounting for Mom’s continued speech and mobility rehabilitation, eventual home care, and home accessibility renovations.
As her sons, we pledge to provide her the utmost in monetary and emotional support, but we are humbly asking the aid of friends, family, her congregation, and anyone else who has been touched by Robin’s benevolent presence through the years. Please help this great woman who has always been so generous, caring, and selfless towards all.
We are extremely grateful for your support.
