Robert L. Wright Scholarship Fund

The Robert L. Wright scholarship honors a man whose roots extend deep within The City of Kent. He is a man that not only made sacrifices for his family, but also for his community. Robert was an outstanding role model for young men and women to idolize. Robert’s charisma alone was addicting, which is one of the many reasons why so many people were drawn to him. Although he did not have a brick-and-mortar establishment to spread his love and guidance, Robert continued to touch our lives on a personal level.    He is a man who spoke with volume and left a lasting impression on those he interacted with.

              This scholarship was created to not only continue to touch our lives on a personal level but to leave something behind as a guide to our children. One male and female high school student will be selected to receive up to a $1000 scholarship to help with their secondary education.
