Ride the Wave with Us — Support the Robertsport Surf Club

When the sun rises over Robertsport’s long sandy bay, you’ll find a group of young surfers paddling out into the waves. Among them is Faith, a 17-year-old surfer whose passion for the ocean has changed her life.

Two years ago, Faith had the chance to travel to Senegal for a training camp organized by the International Surfing Association (ISA) — her first time leaving Liberia.

“Just seeing another country and taking a plane — that’s something many Liberians dream of, but it rarely happens,” she says. “I met other female surfers there, and it completely changed my perspective. It showed me that anything is possible.”

Faith’s story is just one example of what surfing means in Robertsport. Our surf club is more than a place to ride waves — it’s a safe space where young people grow into leaders, support one another, care for the ocean, and build brighter futures for our community.

Now, we’re dreaming even bigger.
We want to send four surfers — two women and two men — to two Africa Surf Confederation Competition in 2026.

Our Goal: $6,000 x 2 events = $12,000 USD

Your support will help cover travel, accommodation, food, competition fees, and equipment transport for our team.

Here’s how the budget breaks down approximately:

* ✈ Flights & visas: $800 per surfer

* Accommodation & food: $400 per surfer

* Competition & transport of surfboards: $300 per surfer

* Training & preparation in Liberia: $200 total

Every dollar helps make this dream possible. These trips aren’t just about winning medals — they give our young athletes the chance to represent Liberia, learn from others, and bring new skills and inspiration back home. When one of us travels, the whole community travels with us.
