Robertson Family Benefit Fund

Mrs. Robertson just returned with the choir from a trip to New York City and she had a PET scan and an MRI upon our return. Sadly, the report is not good, and that is an understatement.  The metastatic disease is now all over her spine and in the soft tissue next to the spine.  The disease is also in the lung and liver.   This week 800ml of metastatic fluid was drained from between the lung and the chest wall.

Our choir department is trying to provide comfort and support by raising enough money to cover her salary for the rest of the year.  Currently she is paid hourly for four hours of accompanying per day. She works 20 hours per week with no benefits.  Last year everyone helped raise money for Mrs. Robertson and her family to take a trip of a lifetime.  This time, we are trying to give her the financial support she needs to allow her to fight this cruel disease without worrying about how many hours per week she is able to work at Centennial.  Peace of mind can go a long way to recovery and it makes us feel like we are doing something to help.  We know Mrs. Robertson will come to class as often as she can because music feeds her soul.  The money will help to cover any hours she has to go to appointments  or doesn’t feel strong enough to come to school.

Please help us. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
