Robertson Family Emergency Fundraiser

I’m Erik Robertson, and my father’s workshop at my parent’s home in Apple Valley caught fire yesterday. Most importantly - family, animals, and the house are all SAFE - but my sister’s nearby trailer with everything she owns and the workshop and sheds containing tools for my father’s livelihood as a mechanic and fabricator, are a total loss. The wind also pushed the fire through their yard, burning a quarter acre and some of the neighbor’s sheds and contents as well.

We’ve already had a wonderful response from friends in our communities both north and south with donations of clothing and basic necessities for my sister. If you would like to make a financial donation that is of course greatly appreciated, and all donations will go first and foremost towards housing and necessity needs for my sister, with any remaining funds going towards tools and cleanup for my father.

I’d also like to personally thank the local fire crews that worked hard to contain the blaze, saving my parent’s and neighbor’s homes on a hot, dry, and windy day.
