The Robert Siliato Scholarship Fund
On Sept. 3, 2013, our dear brother Robert passed away suddenly at the age of 54 due to heart failure. One might say that Robert's heart was so big and so full of kindness that it just kind of gave out on him.
Robert wanted nothing more in his life than to give love, which is the inspiration of the "Love for Robert" Robert Siliato Scholarship Foundation.
Not only does it serve to help raise money for the scholarship, but it is also a way to give the love back to a person that so enjoyed showing compassion for others.
Robert’s attitude was also the inspiration for the foundation of the scholarship fund in his name.
The scholarship itself is not an academic award.
The scholarship is to be awarded annually, to help further the education of a high school graduate, who must demonstrate why and how they have selflessly helped others in need. Thanks to all of your support we have awarded eight high school graduates in the last three years with this scholarship.
We are looking forward to this years 5th annual benefit being held at Section 201 in New Milford NJ (Formerly known as Jersey Boys )in the banquet/party room on April 13th. WigJam will be perfroming a full band acoustic show at the benfit with no cover charge. A suggested donation of $25.00 but there is no donation to small. There will be a cash bar and complimentary bar pies.
