Robert’s Stroke Recovery Fundraiser
Donation protected
On Tuesday, December 27th, our Robert Criss-Carboy suffered a stroke. He is currently stable but experiences some impairments. His recovery path is unknown right now as we still do not know the full extent or permanency of the damage.
It is not known when Robert will be able to return home on his own or to work. He is prescribed several medications, will be attending outpatient therapies, and follow up medical appointments. He is currently unable to drive and will need many supports for an undetermined amount of time. While he does have medical insurance, he will have significant out of pocket medical expenses in addition to his living expenses. We are raising funds so he has a means of meeting his financial obligations in the absence of an income during his recovery. Funds raised will be distributed directly to Robert, who is identified as the beneficiary.
Robert has always been the kind of person to give the shirt off his back to help a friend and pull over to help a stranger. He has always answered the call to help out friends and family in need. Now is his time of need, with mounting medical bills and living expenses. Let’s rally as a village to put the pieces in place for an optimal recovery so he can focus on healing. Friends, family and community, we ask for your help. Please consider contributing whatever you can, every little bit truly matters. Thank you. — With much appreciation, The Criss-Carboy Family
