Our Friend Robert Markowski

I met my friend Robert Markowski back in 2008. In 8 plus years, I like many others, have been blessed to share part of my life and some very special moments with Robert. Robert has touched our lives with his friendship, Robert has touched our lives with his infectious personality and smile, Robert has touched our lives with his kindness and compassion, Robert has touched our lives with his humor and wit, Robert has touched our lives with his politics, Robert has touched our lives with his love and commitment for his family, but most importantly Robert has touched our souls with his heart. 

Whenever I am around Robert and our discussions turn to his family, his eyes begin to shine and he does not hesitate to share a lifes lesson. His love for his wife Mary is as strong as the day they met and he is the proud papa to Christopher and Matthew and speaks with conviction about the men they have become. He loves them all so, so much.  

Today, Robert is facing a tough battle. He was diagnosed with cancer back in 2015 and the most recent news regarding the progression of the disease was           heartbreaking, to say the least. However, through it all, Robert has and continues to be the pillar of strength. In one word, I find him to be simply remarkable. 

I am setting up this page to assist with any outstanding medical bills and additional benefits related to the healing process. Robert and Mary love to escape to Cape May, NJ. It is a special retreat in their lives and I know they would appreciate time together down the shore. Robert also has a true appreciation for industrial architecture and lighthouses. I have found a Lighthouses of New Jersey - Original Watercolor Painting by Donna Elias which I know he would truly appreciate.
