Recently we learned that our Dad, Robert Recio was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer.  This means cancer has grown through the wall of the colon and into a nearby tissue.

He is scheduled for surgery January 21, 2021.

Unfortunately, this has occurred during a difficult time for our family. As proud owners of the RECIO SMOKEHOUSE RESTAURANT, we took the decision to close temporarily due to COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees and the community is our top priority in this case. Our doors have been closed since March 2020.

At this time, Dad does not have health insurance and he has been denied financial assistance. We have been informed that medical expenses will have to be paid in cash before anything can be done. We would greatly appreciate any support as we go through this hard time.
