On September 29, Roberto was riding his bike and was run off the road by a driver causing him to fall and break his collar bone. The break was so severe that Roberto underwent surgery in early October, where they installed metal plates to repair the bone. 
Roberto is a hair stylist, so he was unable to work for over a month and he won't be able to return to cutting hair for at least another 3 months. 
The accident and surgery have yielded many medical bills, physical therapy costs and a loss of income.
