Roberto Ragone's Vision of Vito Marcantonio "One-Man" Film

Hi I'm Roberto Ragone. A Bronx native, I shifted from a career in public policy to my passion for the arts and became an actor, script writer and producer in film and theatre. I have performed on stage and screen in dramas and comedies including in my own scripts, which have been accepted into multiple festivals. The comedy, Bromance-A-Roni, won Best Production at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. The film version won Best Trailer at the Vesuvio Film Festival. In October 2023, I wrote and performed my one-man, Off-Broadway show, The Purgatory Trial of Vito Marcantonio, which was praised as a "tour de force." I would perform the script in the film version.

Jason DeStefano is a writer, producer and director who works in the New York City metro area. Jason started his career in the entertainment industry as a screenwriter, and then eventually branched out into producing and directing after he created the independent production studio Divinity Universal.

Jason will be the Director, Editor, Producer, and Visual Effects Producer for the film version of The Purgatory Trial of Vito Marcantonio.

The goal of this fundraising is to to raise money for the film version of The Purgatory Trial of Vito Marcantonio. The film version will employ visual effects (VFX) and computer-generated images (CGI) to raise the production value of Marcantonio's historical journey to people, places, and events.
