Hi everyone,

We’re raising funds for our friend Roberto, who showed us so much kindness while we were in Guatemala. He welcomed us into his home, gave us a place to stay, shared his food, and helped us get to the airport safely. He treated us like family when we were complete strangers.

Roberto has been going through a difficult time over the past few years, and has put a lot of his own needs aside to support others in his family. Because of that, he hasn’t been able to afford a surgery he needs to treat skin cancer on his nose.

He is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met. While $5000 is a large amount for one person in Guatemala, it can make a big difference when people come together.
