Roberto Medina Garcia

Hi, my name is Rachel Garcia (Nick’s wife) and I’m raising funds to help the Garcia family to pay funeral expenses for my father-in-law, Roberto Garcia (son of Sipriano Garcia and Maria (Medina) Garcia. Roberto passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 after a long battle with COPD caused by black lung disease from working in the foundry in Waukesha, WI his whole life. He was also diagnosed with prostate cancer and congestive heart failure. He has been struggling to breathe for at least the past 10 years of his life.

Roberto did not have life insurance or any assets to help cover the funeral expenses. The family thought he would be with us for at least another 6 to 12 months, so this was unexpected for us. I’m trying to help take some of the stress off of the family by easing their financial burdens with the funeral expenses.

We are also scheduling a celebration of life for mid October so all family members have time to make travel plans.

Please help Roberto Garcia’s family cover his funeral expenses, even if you can donate at least $5, $10 or $20 per person, this will go a long way to help cover the funeral home costs. We appreciate the love and support during this very sad time in our lives. It takes a village to make it in this world!
