Roberto Garcia Transplant Fund
Donation protected

My mother in-law Amy has been his primary caregiver and was the first to get tested as a living donor. Initially she was told she was a perfect match for donating but would need to lower her blood pressure and lower her weight.
After overcoming the requested requirements she went in for her final test on her kidneys and discovered her left kidney (the one they generally take) was working at 60% and the right was only at 40%. At this point Henry ford advised Amy she would no longer be a viable living donor.
Justin and his brothers all agreed they would be tested to be living donors in hopes one of them would be a match for Roberto. Within a week my brother in law was determined a perfect match and surgery was scheduled for April 10th!
Our Campaign:
To help with any financial needs during recovery including the numerous medications and the travel back and forth from Lansing to Detroit. My mother in-law will be taking a leave from work to help care for both my father and brother in-law.
My in-laws have been through so much this past year and we are ready to have Roberto back in good health and continue making memories and enjoying time with family.
It is hard for them to ask and to accept help but this is a time they will need any help they can get and also, lots of prayers!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
