Roberto del Raspado's Smashed Window; Stolen Rig!
Donation protected
Oh no! Roberto del Raspado here, lead singer and guitarist from the band Triangle Fire! After a rock show on September 11th with my friends in Downtown LA, my window was smashed and my guitars and pedalboard were stolen.
I'm reluctant to ask for help, but the truth is, this is a massive blow I was not prepared for. I've recently had to replace windshield glass from vandalism, so I'm not financially capable of repairing my glass :(
The gear stolen from me was acquired after years of working minimum wage and saving; I've used these guitars at countless shows with Triangle Fire and RDR, tracked records, and came out in visual media with them. I considered them an extension of my identity as an artist.
The realist in me doesn't expect to see my two beloved Gibsons again, but any funds given would be of great help to restore my vehicle and maybe even my rig.
Info on the guitars and board:
- 2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic Wine Red SN 012334 (the formal record says 912334, but it was misread from the headstock when it was purchased at GC) in a brown leather Kaces hardshell case
- 2017 Gibson SG Special Vintage Sunburst SN 170092504 in a black coffin case
- Pedaltrain Nano board in softshell bag; MXR Univibe, MXR Sugar Drive, Ibanez TS7, UAFX 1176, MXR Carbon Copy, Peterson Strobostomp Mini
