Robert Gonzalez has been diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia which is an acute form of leukemia (cancer of the white blood cells).

He will undergo months of chemo treatments that will cause him to be out of school and his parents Freddy & Eridania Gonzalez to have limited work schedules for the remainder of his treatment.
