We are at a loss for words at the sudden turn Robert’s health has taken. After suffering a stroke, and failed surgery to contain the bleeding in his brain, it’s deeply saddening that while currently on artificial life support. Rob’s family and loved ones are by his side at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL.
The heartache and pain our dearest friends Crystal and Mary are facing is unimaginable. Robert was diagnosed with an aggressive, rare form of blood cancer, APL leukemia, shortly after his birthday, July 28. Absolutely soul-crushing and so shocking to everyone; he has been in ICU ever since. (August 1)
Always a super chill guy, positive, and very optimistic, Rob’s ambitions led him to Miami to begin a reinvigorated chapter along with a new career opportunity. However, life had other plans. We're absolutely crushed as Robbie grasped for life. And really feel for his mother and sister as they endure this overwhelming, traumatic, and unexpected situation.
Any support, no matter how small, helps. Mary and Crystal are struggling deeply with the heartache of having their loved one pulled from them too soon from this world. This tragic course reminds us that we can never take life for granted. Those who have been inspired by Robert, we appreciate your support and donations for medical expenses and assist his mother and sister during this challenging and devastating time. With heavy hearts, we want to inform everyone that our dear Rob has passed.
We thank all of you for your generosity and support; we are forever grateful. Life is so fragile. Please keep Rob and his family in your prayers.
