Hello everyone,

My name is Roberta (Bobbi) DeVault, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request during a very challenging time. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, and I’ve recently made the difficult decision to receive hospice care.

As I prepare for the next stage of my journey, my greatest wish is to remain in Montana, close to my daughters and grandchildren, during my final days. It’s incredibly important to me to be near them.

I also have a specific plan for my farewell: I would like to have a wake in Harlem, Montana, where I can be surrounded by loved ones, before being transported back home to Minnesota for my funeral and burial.

After contacting funeral homes, the costs associated with these wishes are significant. It will be well over $5000 for funeral expenses, transporting my body home, and crucial travel expenses for my children and grandchildren to be able to travel back to Minnesota to lay me to rest.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be profoundly appreciated to help ease this financial burden for my family and ensure my final wishes can be honored. Your support will allow my daughters and grandchildren to focus on our time together, rather than worrying about these costs.
