Robert's End of Life Expenses

Robert Parsons touched many lives. He was well known here at The Lake Powell Resort as our own Uncle Robert. An employee of Aramark since 2009 he was a staple here in the Rainbow Room. Nearly everyone knew and loved Robert & his wife Wendy. Robert was always there with an open ear and arms ready for bear hugs. On January 21st he was diagnosed with Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer, one of the rarest and most aggressive cancers in humans. The doctors estimated him to have 4-6 months left to live. Due to the progressive nature and advanced stages of his cancer he decided to proceed with Home Hospice. He relocated to Phoenix to stay with his sister & Wendy for his remaining time. We are hoping to raise money to help Wendy with the remaining costs of his end of life care. It is also with deep sadness to tell you that Robert passed away very peacefully with Wendy by his side in the evening of March 5th. Any little bit helps, and Wendy really appreciates everyone who has reached out to her and will get back to people in time. Robert didn't want a regular funeral is not having any public services so we will update everyone with his and Wendy's wishes at a later time, we will have a memorial planned for him.
