Robert Wilkie + the Cobargo Community
The devastation of the Australian fires have ravaged so many homes and livelihoods and even taken lives.
My name is Nicola Westwood from Melbourne, Australia and have been holidaying on the South Coast since I was a child. As my family prepared to evacuate our favorite holiday spot, Narooma, I had the honour of meeting Robert Wilkie. He shared his story of the fires on the 31st December 2019 in which he lost his entire home in Cobargo, NSW. He and his wife left with little in their car - not even his own wallet.
Robert went on to say he was the lucky one - his neighbour and son lost their lives trying to protect their property.
If we can help this man and his neighbours and this beautiful township of Cobargo with as little as $5, then it is the least we can do. I would truly love your support and donations as we try to make these residents smile in the midst of such disaster. And if you can’t give, pray.
We will be withdrawing the full amount by the end of January and depositing all proceeds directly into Robert Wilke’s bank account for him to use to rebuild his home and life again.
Thank you in advance for your help ♥️
