Yesterday 02/19/2018, my neighbors for 10 years lost their only child a son Robert Welter, Robert was 16. His passing was very unexpected and fast. Robert died of Flu complications, he was admitted to the hospital on Friday 02/16/2018 and passed away on Monday. His mother Karen Welter is very ill, and is battling her own health issues. Karen was actually released from an inpatient rehab this evening, after fracturing both ankles, she has a very hard time with balance and walking and that's how both ankles were fractured. Karen is experiencing early signs of Parkinsons disease and is currently having breathing issues which has her on oxygen 24/7. His father Ken works at the local Weis supermarket, and has to now take a leave of absence to care for his wife, which is also something Robert helped with when he came home from school. Robert was a full time student at Pocono Mountain West HS, and worked part-time at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mount Pocono. They struggle just as we all do, but with the unexpected loss of their only child, just made things worse. If I can find a way to maybe ease just a little of the pain this family is going through, I most definitely have to try. I don't have to explain to you the tears and heartbreak this family is going through at this time. So if you can PLEASE find it in your heart to help this family in their time of need, I know they would GREATLY appreciate it, and I as well. I thank you for helping the Welter family in their time of need. If you can also please say a prayer for them as well, I would greatly appreciate it, this family needs your prayers more than anything. The family has no idea I'm doing this, so please help me bring some financial ease to them. I thank you family and friends for your prayers and your financial support.
