Robert “TWINK” Johnson

Robert L. Johnson Jr., 43, of McDonald, Robinson Township, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in his home.

Robert (Twink) was born on September 16, 1979, a son of Robert L. and Connie Gilbert Johnson Sr. Robert loved being around his family and friends. They all would often gather and play cards, pool and during the warm months corn hole. When Robert wanted to relax, he loved sitting down and watching any cooking show he could find.

Along with his parents, surviving are his children, Devontae Johnson, Robert L. Johnson III, Akyla Johnson, step children, Taymaree Tripplet, Terrance Tripplet, and Tarrence Tripplet, siblings, Sean (Dawn) Simmons, Michael Brown, Nichole Johnson and Everlina Johnson, and two grandchildren Devontae Jr and Tae’von.

And a host aunts ,uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his infant son, Courtez R. Johnson (08/08/2007).

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Robert’s Life on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Noon at the Women’s Club Pavilion, McDonald (next to the tennis courts).

We are trying to send my brother off as he deserved and celebrate he’s amazing life and would appreciate anything at this time to help do so and thank you all advance for the help at the tragic time
