Hello everyone, this is Travis Trotti (Rob's nephew) and I felt compelled to help my uncle any way I could. First I’d like to talk about the man Robert Trotti is. Rob is my father’s older brother and my uncle. He and my father have been close my entire life and allowed him to always be in my life. Rob is married to Marion and has three girls, Kylie, Autumn, and Raina, who love him unconditionally. Rob has been a mechanic at SAS in Deer Park for as long as I can remember and is one of the hardest working men I know. When not working, which seems like all the time, he loves to fish on Lake Livingston, duck hunt with friends and family, and fix his nephews truck...for free (Thanks Rob). He is loved by everyone who knows him and never hesitates to lend a helping hand.
Some of you know on April 1st Robert Trotti, suffered a massive stroke. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and when I arrived I was informed that he probably would not survive. Little did they know that Rob is a fighter and does not like to be told what to do. It was a long day but thanks to the amazing staff at the hospital and Rob's will to fight, he survived the stroke.
However, the stroke did leave some lasting effects. Rob has lost most of his vision, fine motor skills, and the ability to walk on his own. He is taking part in therapy every day and has begun the long road to recovery.
This fundraiser is for Rob's medical expenses and for his family while he is still trying to recover.
To Marion, Kylie, Autumn and Raina, we all love you and are here for whatever you need.
-(as Rob calls me) Trav-Ass.
