Robert Taylor’s Motorcycle Accident Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Dear friends, family and kind-hearted individuals,

Robert was involved in a horrible motorcycle accident this morning, August 18, 2023 in Panama City Beach, Florida. Officials say the individual driving the truck didn’t observe Rob on his motorcycle traveling in the inside lane and pulled into its path, causing them to collide.

Rob has suffered from multiple injuries and was sent to Bay Medical Center, where the trauma team was waiting for him and is now in ICU. It is a miracle that he is alive. Just some of the injuries include a brain bleed, a broken right arm, a broken leg/large laceration, as well as road rash. Today alone, he underwent surgery for his severe brain bleed, where they removed part of his skull to allow for swelling and installed two drains. Surgery was performed on his leg to stabilize it, pack and a wound vac was applied to help with healing. He underwent a trauma bath today where his road rash was cleaned and bandaged. He is currently intubated and on a ventilator helping him breathe. The neurologist is uncertain about what his neurological status will be. Only time will tell. Tomorrow, he will be taken to surgery again to have his right arm stabilized due to a broken humerus. His road to recovery will be long and arduous if he pulls through this tragic accident.

His wife, Tabitha Taylor, is staying at his bedside as he recovers and is unsure of when he or she will be able to return to work. Anyone who knows Rob, knows he always shows up and is genuinely always willing to help those in need. He served in the Army as EOD and Calvary Scout as well as completing a tour in Afghanistan in 2019.

This Go Fund Me is being started to help ease the burden that Robert and Tabitha will have during this difficult time and allow them to focus on his recovery. They are going to need as much help as possible getting through the next few months, whether it be bills, medical care, food, or other necessities. Rob and Tabitha will forever be grateful for any prayers, donations, and sharing of this Go Fund Me with their family and friends.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and support.

We will continue to keep everyone updated.
