Robert takes a digger

Hi, my name is Becky and I’m starting a gofundme for my friend’s medical and living expenses after a horrible accident. On June 28th, Robert was at work and had an accident that caused a compound fracture to his tibula, and also a severe break to his fibula. Due to his employment as a 1099, he didn’t have worker’s compensation. In June, he underwent his first surgery to stabilize the worst of the breaks, his 2nd surgery was delayed due to the swelling. In July, after his second surgery he also developed a staph infection, which complicated healing. In August another infection, this time in the bone, caused him to undergo a 3rd surgery, at which time, the surgeon had to take part of the bone and muscles out because of the extreme infection. Robert still has at least 2 surgeries to undergo and has been unable to work, and he still has 4 - 6 months of healing before he will be able to work again.
