Robert (Smurf) Murphy Family Fund
Donation protected
On Friday, 8th of January 2021, Rob (Smurf) Murphy suffered a hemorrhagic stroke (brain aneurysm) which can only be described as a complete shock for his family and friends.
Rob was discovered unconscious in the bathroom late Friday afternoon by his roommate, who immediately rushed to his aid, only to realise there was nothing he could do to assist but call the paramedics. Due to this quick thinking, Rob was rushed to the ICU on life support and immediately placed in a medical induced coma after his brain surgery to stop the bleed on the brain.
Rob miraculously became conscious just 3 days later on the 10th of January 2021. Rob is now starting a very slow recovery, he is currently experiencing paralysis on the whole left side of his body and as you can imagine, is a little bruised and battered post surgery with approximately 20 stiches across his forehead.

Anyone who knows Rob, knows he is quiet easy going bloke who relies on no one but himself and his strong work ethic and being physically active.
Rob is a sole trader qualified carpenter and builder who is entirely dependent on his full functioning body and mind to earn a living which has been tough enough as is during the current pandemic.
Outside of work, Rob is most happy being out in nature with his close knit group of friends, he is an avid golfer and passionate fisherman, which again all require the use of his functioning body!
We are ever so kindly asking for donations, no matter how big or small it all adds up.
Rob's recovery will be a very long journey for not only Rob, but also for his family and friends who will be directly assisting him. Certain equipment and other expenses such as intense physical and mental rehabilitation will be extremely costly for Rob and the family. If you could find it in your hearts to donate, please do so.

Thankyou in advance from the Murphy family and friends.
