Hi, my name is Robert Sleeper, I have Non-alcoholic end stage liver failure from a major infection a while back.

I am working with the Penn University hospital Liver transplant team for an eventual liver transplant .

While we expect our health insurance to cover the bulk of the expense, there are extraneous expenses such as travel to and from Philadelphia to Lancaster PA. boarding for my wife while I'm hospitalized, etc.

Depending on my condition after the surgery, these expenses can be extensive. I will also have non-covered expenses upon my return home.

This is strange to me as I am a very independent person and not one to ask for donations however, it has been communicated to me by my surgical team and others that have first hand experience to setup a fund people can donate to.
