Robert Short

My name is Tina Stephens. I am arranging this GoFundMe for a dear friend of mine, Rebecca Lawrence, who lost her father tragically by her brother's hand. Robert Short was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Robert and his wife, Helen, have been together since their 20s to now their 70s. Helen says Robert was her soulmate, a hardworking man who loved his family. He didn't deserve to be killed by their own son. Rebecca says her dad had a big heart. He was a hard worker who worked multiple jobs over the years to take care of his family. Rebecca says her dad was funny, was always there for her, telling her how proud he was of her, leaving her silly voicemails on all occasions. It breaks my heart those are the only times now I will hear his voice. Rebecca said her dad had been dealing with heart failure and cancer over the last few years. Yet, even though he struggled, he always had a smile on his face. Robert was the primary provider for the family. Helen says that she, Rebecca, and her grandchildren need all the help they can get.
