So here is where we are. Karen and I were renting a place for 10 years and the lady sold it. When we started looking at places they were $900 more than what we had been paying, That was way out of our price range.
     I’m still recovering from another back surgery that I had in December from a fall I had taken. The fall had severally pinched 3 discs in my back which required surgery and a longer than expected recovery. Currently I’m almost there recovery wise. However I’m having a few glitches here & there. This is causing me to have to go for additional injections etc. Anyway. we kept looking for places that we could afford and my one sister was able to help us find a one bedroom. Which we use the fold out sofa for Karen. Of course we are  we’re greatly appreciative of her help, her husband and my niece and nephews help in many ways. Unfortunately, the apartment complex said we could be  in pending get the CO which was about a two week delayed. So I had to put about $3400 on my card at 31%. This covered 2 weeks at a motel, the first set of movers to get everything to storage.storage  and then food. Right now the card is 0% ttill September 1. Then it goes up to 31% but I felt I had no choice. I have great friends that would be able to put me up for a long time, but unfortunately, Karen‘s friends are not local so she would be out on the streets   Unfortunately , there was one family member we thought might put us up for two weeks. However , they couldn’t as we would be to disruptive to their household.  I hope they know in spite of that I do thank her very much as we did needed someone to cosign . I’m just trying to get rid of as much debt as possible before it goes to 31% .  I have zero chance of digging out of this especially with the situation with my back.
 I also substitute teach and have for the past five years at Howell High school. They usually don’t need substitutes until  the end of September early October so I’m very concerned as to how to keep all the bills paid when I don’t have any income coming in. And my AFLAC disability was done paying out in June.
