Robert Royal Morgan

Hello, my name is Kyle Brown. I’ve known Robert and his family since I was four years old. Some of you may know me and my brother, a lot of you will not. Robert had a gift that connected him to people from all walks of life. This is not something I expected to write or this soon. Unfortunately, this is something that needs to be done.

In 2013, Robert received an Associate of Applied Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from the Institute of Technology. It’s not surprising that he used his education in a setting that embraced his social nature. Robert was employed as a security guard at one of Turlocks most established nightclubs, the Grand Cru. If he wasn’t working at his other job, you could find him downtown taking in the nightlife with his friends.

On the night of January 14th, 2023, Robert was off the clock celebrating life with friends. He was ending his night at Cru when an altercation occurred that compelled Robert to help his coworkers. As a result, he was shot six times. Despite everyone’s best efforts, Robert was pronounced deceased on January 15th, 2023, at 2:16AM.

Robert is survived by his parents, Teresa and Rick Morgan, and by his two eldest brothers Richard and Thomas Morgan.
