Robert Roberg could use our help!
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Robert Roberg, is in desperate need of your help. A long time resident of New York City, Robert has always been there for others- from his volunteerism at the lower Manhattan boat house to donating over 25 years and finally becoming a full time employee, working for the Trevor Project- a suicide hotline supporting the mental health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. During his early days in New York City, he was a talented designer for Perry Ellis. He has been incredibly kind and generous to our children over the decades. Adventurous, getting my husband to ride the Coney Island Cyclone, happy to come play with our pets. Everyone who meets Robert acknowledges how sweet and kind he is.
Now in the throes of his own disabling mental health crisis, Robert needs our support. After an extended stay in the hospital, Robert has lost his apartment. His beloved cat Griffin, who has his own medical problems, needs to be cared for but is currently being fostered by Robert's friend, Joseph.
Funds raised will help support Robert while he makes this transition to a new home and help defray the cost of vet care for Griffin. He is currently in a short term care situation, but will need to move to a long term situation where he can get adequate help, and live a productive life.
If you know Robert, you know he was always there to help when we needed it. It's our turn to help Robert.
Thanks for your generosity.
